Are you ready to get into the swing of spring? Then, it’s time to make these Jazzy Mocha Brownies! This is a sponsored post written on behalf of J.M Smucker Company, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Spring is in the air here in Oklahoma, right along with the crazy allergies. This year is SO much worse I think for allergies. My husband who normally does not have any issues with allergies had to start taking medicine for it too. I guess we have this mild winter to thank for that. In the meantime make some Jazzy Mocha Brownies.
In the midst of that though, I needed some indoor activities with the kids to stay out of the Oklahoma wind and blowing allergens!
What do we do?
We make brownies of course, Jazzy Mocha Brownies. We stopped by Walmart and picked up our Pillsbury Brownie Mix with the Pillsbury Bold Purple Icing. My daughter is on a purple kick lately, having slightly swayed from her previous love of pink. It’s still there but purple is inching its way in.
My daughter and I spent some time in the kitchen making the brownies while we waited on bubba to come home from school. She absolutely loves baking, but her favorite part is watching the mixer when it’s in action. As soon as I turned it on she squealed, “Look at it go!!!!” She does this every single time…and we use that mixer A LOT!
We decided to make these mocha brownies, then top them with the bold icing. It sure made for a little bit of a messy brownie, but they were so delicious it was necessary!
These were a fun little after school treat and the perfect way to kick off the last 6 weeks of school with the kids!
Also, be sure to check out my Spring Cupcakes too.
Now, head to Walmart to pick yours up today!
