I have been contemplating introducing hummus to my husband and son but kept putting it off. Then, I picked up the latest edition of All You Magazine and saw this recipe for Hummus and Turkey Pinwheels.
Knowing my son’s love of pinwheels and the fact my picky eater eats them, plus my husband’s love of tortilla’s…I thought we may be on to something.
I made these for lunch and they were gone in minutes! I was the one who had a hard time getting used to the taste of hummus. My husband though loved them and could not wait to try more. He was eating the hummus straight out of the container. I was in total shock! I did buy store bought hummus, I plan to attempt my own soon!
I guess I’ll be working on warming up to hummus, it’s the texture that I seem to have a hard time with. I am so happy though how toddler friendly and husband friendly this dish was. This will be a regular item on our lunch menu.
Enjoy!

I forgot about home made hummus, I use to make it a lot. I need to try this recipe for my daughter!
Oh I really really love this! Thanks for sharing the link to the recipe. It looks really simple, plus it has two of my favorite things, turkey and hummus.
Thanks Kristy!
