When I am making sides for dinner this Homemade Mac and Cheese is a frequent addition to our dinner! Not only is it very easy, but it compliments meats well to balance it out with a carb and protein. Of course, it’s also nice that my picky eater will eat it.
I won’t lie though up until I went gluten free I was bred on Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and no matter how hard I try, nothing homemade taste as good as that blue box. I know it’s shameful right? Telling you that a box of Kraft is better than homemade? Well, that’s what happens when your sister makes you that almost every day of your childhood growing up because that was what she always wanted for lunch when she would be babysitting me.
I had to give up though on the blue box when I went gluten free, so the next best thing is this homemade version. Of course, this may be the best thing for you if you love homemade foods, which I do now!
