As we head into the summer season, our grill tends to be used more than the oven. Is it that way in your home? Thankfully, we have a gas grill and it makes it super easy for me to quickly turn on and heat up. My husband is usually the king of the grill in our home. I can typically get it heating up on his way home from work, and then as soon as he gets home, he can get to grilling the meat I have prepared. This particular week, I decided to adapt one of our favorite recipes, Glazed Chicken Thighs, to make this delicious Grilled Garlic Rosemary Glazed Chicken. We used Tyson® All Natural Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast for this tasty recipe.
It’s not only super affordable, but it’s also quick to make as well. I typically will let the chicken sit in the glaze most of the day, so I prep it in the morning and then by dinner time it’s ready to grill. This allows for the flavors to really seep into the chicken. I find it makes for a nice, juicy grilled chicken as well.
When I use the grill, I like to use it for the full meal, so we paired ours with some grilled corn on the cob and greens. This was a wonderful meal to serve out on the back patio. Our kids happen to love eating outside, so they were even more excited to eat it knowing they could eat outside.
I also find I’m just more relaxed during grilling season. I am not really sure why this is either, maybe less mess to clean up? Or maybe it’s just all that fresh air that relaxes me? I’m sure it could be a mix of both. It really is a great way to just relax from a busy day.
It’s also a great way for my husband and I to catch up on the day without a million interruptions because the kids are happy to go play in the backyard. That right there is worth everything, isn’t it? It sure is for us! Those days when you could get more than two words in…I barely remember those days.
We keep Tyson All Natural Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast on hand all summer long along with chicken thighs too. It is a great light meal, plus it’s perfect for grilling. After a busy summer day full of activity, there is nothing better than enjoy a grilled meal outdoors.

The best part is when you are grilling; it doesn’t have to be complicated. I’m not a complicated cook by any means; I like easy to use ingredients that many times, I already have on hand. In this case the main ingredients for this meal are rosemary, garlic, and honey, with a touch of ginger. Each of these is going to likely be found right inside your pantry without a trip to the store. Of course, if you do need to purchase anything, you can pick them all up at Target with your Tyson All Natural Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast.
Now, I have a little secret, you can head on over to the Summer Field Guide and you will find another great recipe for summer. It’s going to be full of trips and tricks too for outdoor cooking this upcoming season.
I don’t know about you but after this super cold winter, I’m ready for summer. I can bypass spring and just get right on into the summer season. Can you? It’s time!
It’s time to dust off the flip flops and head outside to grill up this Grilled Garlic Rosemary Glazed Chicken and enjoy some fresh air!
