Make a delicious lunch or dinner with these Green Giant Veggie Spirals!
This is a sponsored post; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m sure most of you have tired veggie spirals, right? It’s caused quite the stir this past year or so and certainly is a top food trend these days. Honestly, I have to wonder, why didn’t we think of this before? It’s a great alternative to pasta and it’s so good for you too. When I saw that Green Giant was introducing a frozen line of Veggie Spirals, I have to admit, I was pretty ecstatic about that.
Of course, it’s a great idea to do it yourself too; however, our family has been so busy that I honestly haven’t had time to do it myself. I am certain we all have those days. These Green Giant Veggie Spirals are the perfect way to do dinner in a pinch and make it a better-for-you dinner too!
The Green Giant Veggie Spirals™ Carrot come in 4 different varieties, Zucchini, Carrots, Beets, and Butternut Squash. They are all available in the frozen foods section of your local grocery store.
The best part in my opinion is that you can heat them up right in the package they are in. Then, when they are done, you simply peal back the cover and they are nicely steamed and ready to serve, after draining.
I love to use these and create a salad bowl without the lettuce, we also love to use the Zucchini Spirals for Spaghetti & Meatballs. It’s a great way to get my kids to gladly eat their veggies and much better option too.
This past week, I decided to create a Veggie Spiral Bowl. I combined the carrots and zucchini, then I topped it with Grilled Salmon. On top of the Grilled Salmon, I also added in a few tomatoes, fresh lemon, and parsley. The Lemon gives the vegetables a nice flavor as well.
The flavors all paired together made for a very quick and simple lunch, taking only 15 minutes to prepare. This can also be perfect for dinner too and better for you because it only takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish!
Another trick that I enjoy is that you can heat them up in the microwave, then simply put them in the fridge to get cold and serve a nice, cold salad if you prefer that as opposed to a steamed vegetable.
Can you imagine all the fresh produce you can add to it? I love that you can mix and match a little frozen produce with fresh produce and make a delicious lunch or dinner.
Have you tried the Green Giant Veggie Spirals, yet? I’m anxious to try the Butternut Squash next! They would be perfect used in this Taco Zoodle Casserole too.
Be sure to check them all out on their website as well, plus grab a coupon too!
Enjoy!
