Glazed Chicken Sliders with Pepper Jack Cheese make for the perfect game day recipe, plus try out these ideas too!
After the holidays we had a good week or so where we were able to just slow down and breathe. Now, it’s back to a very fast-paced, packed schedule. Normally, I am pretty good about being sure we have plenty of down time too; however, it seems everything just piled up at the same time. That means my slow cooker has become my beacon of hope when it comes to entertaining or making dinner. As we planned for game day, I decided to make Slow Cooker Glazed Chicken, and then turn them into Glazed Chicken Sliders with Pepper Jack Cheese.
What makes these sliders absolutely delicious? It’s the Pepperidge Farm Slider Buns in the Sweet & Soft variety. These bring another layer of flavor to the chicken and truly make for a flavor filled slider. My husband loves Pepper Jack Cheese and since it was game day, that just seemed fitting to use.
The Pepperidge Farm Slider Buns are the perfect size as well, they aren’t as big as a regular bun, but aren’t too small either, they are just right. They are filled with premium ingredients, that means no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup, and have a baker’s touch. Plus, they add the perfect touch to your sliders with no work on your part!
The chicken is simple to make as well, simply put it in the slow cooker in the morning and it will shred right up to put on your sliders. I like to set all the toppings out and let the guests build their own. It would even be nice if you wanted to add different cheese to the table, so that guests could choose their own as well even though we are a little biased to the Pepper Jack cheese.
Glazed Chicken Sliders with Pepper Jack Cheese are my go-to mouthwatering slider for game day, what’s your go-to recipe?
