One of the biggest challenges for me is finding quick and easy side dishes or snacks to accompany my meals. These past few weeks I have been trying out the Panasonic FlashXpress™ Toaster Oven with Double Infrared Heating. This toaster oven can quickly make full meals! My husband and I loved it since many times we are just eating for two on busy nights.
I decided though to make Baked Potato Chips & Baked Kale Chips with ours to make some #InAFlash Snacks. In just about 10 minutes we had a plate of potato chips and kale chips that we could pair along side a sandwich that we toasted using the toaster oven. I’m not sure what it is about toaster ovens, but they really do make the best toast. It’s evenly crispy on all sides and the butter just melts right in.
We ended up making melted ham and cheese sandwiches, perfect for a quick and easy meal.
The kale chips were crispy on all sides and my picky eater even tried a few before deciding, kale is not his friend. The potato chips though may have been the best part. We could not stop eating them!
They are so simple too with no nasty additives, all you need are sliced potatoes, a little sea salt, and olive oil. That’s it!
I’m sharing the full recipe for the Baked Potato & Kale Chips at the bottom, but FIRST it’s time to giveaway a Toaster Oven!
One lucky winner will win this Panasonic Toaster Oven so that you can whip up quick meals too!
