Get ready to head Back to School and Give Back with Box Tops for Education!
I receive monetary compensation from General Mills and in exchange of my endorsement of Box Tops For Education.
It’s just about that time, back to school time! My kids are about to go back and they are both at the same school this year. Can you hear my hallelujah? I am ECSTATIC! That means the same schedule, same place, and only one place for me to take them and pick them up. This mom is beyond excited. That also means, I can send all of our Box Tops for Education to their school this year.
Our kids go to a small private school and honestly they rely heavily on Box Tops to help get some of the things that benefit our school. One year, they were able to get a popcorn maker and although that may seem small, the kids love it. They use it all the time at the different events throughout the year and are able to make additional money by selling bags of popcorn too. That money they make then helps the older kids go on class trips and field trips.
Box Tops really do just keep on giving and honestly, they are on so many products, why not save them? I highly suggest that even if you do not have kids in school, be sure to save them and take them to your local school. I can tell you they will be beyond grateful to receive those.
As we head back to school, I decided to head to Sam’s Club and stock up on some lunch items and snack items.
We picked up Fruit Roll-Ups, Yoplait Go-Gurt, Totino’s Pepperoni Pizza Rolls, Betty Crocker’s Triple Chocolate Brownie Mix, and Gardetto’s Snack Mix. Sounds like some tasty products, doesn’t it?
These all can be integrated easily into lunches, plus my daughter and I enjoyed a baking day making those brownies. I can tell you my husband was ecstatic to eat some brownies. It’s a rare day in this house that we make gluten-filled desserts, so he was beyond pleased.
The kids and I stocked up our pantry with wonderful items and clipped the Box Tops too. The only debate now around our home is which class will I give the Box Tops to. What do you mean? Our school does a competition between grades to see who collects the most Box Tops. Our son’s class has won nearly every year since we’ve attended this school.
Now, I have a kindergartner there too, so I’m going to have to split the Box Tops. My son wasn’t thrilled with that response. Ha!
How do Box Tops benefit your school?
When schools turn in Box Tops, they get money to purchase a variety of items. For every Box Top, schools get 10 Cents, and it adds up quickly when the entire school and community participate!
This is a simple way to give back with Box Tops for Education simply by clipping them from your everyday purchased items.
What has your school purchased with Box Tops?
I’d love to hear about it!
Happy Back to School Season!
