Egg Topped Cheesy Stuffed is a great option for the holidays!
Guess what? Halloween is behind us, now we have Thanksgiving ahead of us. I’m sure for some of you the thought of realizing the holidays are looming is making you cringe a little bit? I am SO excited about the holidays this year, so I say…Let’s Go! I’ll be gearing up all month sharing recipes and highlighting past recipes that have been featured for the holidays. Today, I thought I would kick off the season with a beautiful, tasty way to recreate stuffing.
In our family stuffing is one of the main treats about the Thanksgiving dinner. I know, personally it’s right up there with green bean casserole as one of my favorite foods on Thanksgiving.
This year, I thought I would take my stuffing up to a whole new level. The best part is this literally took me about 10 minutes to put together, then 20-30 minutes of baking time. It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted fabulous too. This is a great recipe for those that may not like cooking as much or may not have time to cook but you still want to bring a delicious dish that makes your family say ‘wow’.
I actually used a few boxes of Stove Top Stuffing, Kraft Shredded Cheese, and a few eggs to make this easy stuffing.
Once I had my stuffing made, I poured it into an oven safe dish, then I cracked eggs over the top of the stuffing. I baked them in the oven for about 20 minutes, carefully removing the dish to add the cheese and continue baking.
This taste like a stuffing casserole that is wonderful paired alongside turkey.
What types of foods do you usually bring for Thanksgiving? I highly suggest adding this one to the list!
Grab all that you need for this dish and eat up!
