These Easy Thanksgiving Recipes will be perfect for all levels of cooking.
It’s the first week of November, but that means we are just a few weeks away from…Thanksgiving!
It may still feel like we should be in summer, but we have less than 2 months in the year to go! Isn’t that crazy to think about? It just never ceases to amaze me how quickly the years go by.
As a kid, they seemed like they took FOREVER, but as an adult, each year gets faster than the previous year.
We are full swing ahead planning for our Thanksgiving Dinner. We typically host it at our home and then hang out with the family.
We also go to see a movie every Thanksgiving evening. In years past, it was always lined up to go see the movies on Thanksgiving because that was all that was open.
This year though… my husband and son won tickets FOURTH ROW to the Dallas Cowboys game. Insane, right? I have no love of football but those two, they basically won the lottery!
I remember the little theaters we used to go to when I was a kid, which honestly doesn’t seem like that long ago. Then, I realize it was DECADES ago.
The line would always be down the hall and then out the door. That particular theater doesn’t even exist anymore, even the mall has been converted to office buildings.
Nowadays, I love that you can reserve your seats in advance.
What is the real treat though?
So many stores open on Thanksgiving night that really the theaters aren’t all that busy like they used to be! Most of the people that used to be there with us are out shopping.
I’ll pass ya’ll…!
Do you do Black Friday Shopping?
I am perfectly content doing all my shopping online, I have absolutely zero desire to shop all night long. I know most love it just because it’s fun and that’s great too. I prefer my pajamas, computer, and packages sent to my doorstep.
Thanksgiving Dinner though takes some prep work for sure. I am sharing today several Easy Thanksgiving Recipes to help you plan your day.
