Use slow cooker pulled pork to make these amazing Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Coleslaw!
This recipe starts out with cooked and prepared Slow Cooker Pulled Pork, be sure to have this on hand before building these fabulous Pulled Pork Sandwiches!
These can also be made with Ninja Foodi Pulled Pork too.
We have found these to be some of the best sandwiches to serve poolside throughout the summer and even during the winter especially when you have so many options for cooking the pulled pork.
What goes on Pulled Pork Sandwiches?
Pulled Pork Sandwiches can be topped with any of your favorite toppings.
In this case, we top them with the following:
- Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
- Prepared Coleslaw
- Homemade Barbecue Sauce
- Hamburger Buns or Rolls
Any other times can be added too such as pickles, red onions, bell peppers, deli-sliced peppers, and anything else that you may prefer.
Which cut of pork should you use for pulled pork?
This recipe is made with already prepared meat, so it’s already done when preparing the sandwiches; however, the best cuts for pulled pork are going to be Pork Shoulder or Pork Butt.
Each of these comes from the front of the pig. They shred really well and are tender and juicy, easy to chew cuts.
What should you pair these with?
Pair these with your favorite Air Fried Okra, Potato Salad, Broccoli Salad, or Baked Beans.
Each of these makes for a great barbecue sandwich made right at home.
Slow Cooker Pulled Pork will easily serve about 8-12 people depending on the amount of pork on each sandwich, which makes it a great one to feed a party of 8.
It can also be doubled to serve more if needed too.
