Tips for Making Buffalo Sauce:
Buffalo Sauce is different than a hot sauce with a combination of flavors. I feel like buffalo sauce isn’t nearly as spicy as just plain hot sauce, it’s also more flavorful.
It is also perfect on these Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower Wings if you want something more low-carb it’s a great flavor booster to cauliflower and other veggies.
This sauce can be stored for up to a month in an airtight container in the fridge. It may need to be brought to room temperature before serving.
This can also be made with a small saucepan on the stove; however, we typically melt the butter in the microwave as written in this recipe. It’s important to use unsalted butter to avoid the sauce being too salty.
It does need to be stirred well to avoid splitting and if you do reheat to serve later, it will need to be whipped back up lightly with a whisk to combine.
This will help it mix up again, another option is simply to shake it up too in a sealed bottle.
