It’s time to get into the back to school routine and that means a good breakfast, I love using these Easy Breakfast Ideas with Jif to help get our morning started. This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of The J.M. Smucker Company. The opinions and text are all mine
We started school yesterday! It was a mixed bag of emotions for me, I am so excited to see our kids blossom this year as they grow older, but it’s all so bittersweet at the same time. It seems like once they hit elementary age, the years speed up.
I’m looking forward though to getting settled back into a routine and getting some quiet time to really focus on work too instead of the juggling we did this summer. In the midst of the back to school season means a good breakfast is in order too. I decided to try out a few new breakfast ideas with my kids using Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter and a few fun items to spread it on!
My daughter has recently got into the kick of not wanting to eat breakfast. The thing is she loves to snack. She could snack all day long. The first thing she ask as we headed to her preschool was about the snack. That’s the top priority for her. I decided to use the Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter to make a breakfast tray for my kids. I added some french toast sticks, bananas, and strawberries to it as well. Now, they had options. Let’s face it sometimes kids do better when they have options. I’ve found mine are more likely to eat if they feel like they can make their own choices.
I set this up and let them pick out what they wanted to eat and paired with Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter, they were in heaven! There is no fuss at breakfast time when you serve this for the kids. My husband joined in on this setup too, plus it’s simple. My kids went peanut butter happy with this tasty breakfast.
Then, we also keep Jif Bars on hand too for those times when we are running late and need a breakfast on the go. I’ll just admit that I’m probably the last one to get up in our house. I’m also the last one to go to bed though, so I guess it all evens out, but sometimes when I’m in charge of getting the kids to school, we are eating on the go. They have no complaints though because they love the boost of peanut butter they get with their bars on the way there.
The Jif Bars and Jif Flavored Spreads are all available at your local Walmart, that makes them easy to pickup on your next shopping trip. Plus, you can save on both too, check out the Ibotta offer for Jif Bars and Jif Flavored Spreads.
Now, are you ready to get school started? It’s time! Let’s get going with a good start for breakfast.
Enjoy!
