Make family time even more fun with this DIY Snack Bar for Movie Night!
One thing we do fairly regularly is a family movie night, it’s a great inexpensive way to have some family fun! We have these even more so as we head into the fall and winter months after a long day of school and work. Friday night is typically our go-to for our family movie nights. Sometimes we setup a pallet or even the blow up mattress in the middle of the living room and have a camp-out style movie night inside! The kids love it and it is SO easy to do! One thing we try to also do is create a DIY Snack Bar for Movie Night!
Now, this is also super simple because really all you need is popcorn, candies, and some crackers or other items to create the snack bar. Then, we will usually splurge and let the kids have some type of juice or drink outside of water.
We are now planning out our movie night for the upcoming release of “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” DVD at Walmart. This is such a funny movie and perfect for a family movie night. It features Kevin Hart and Ed Helms as well, which happen to be my husband’s favorite actors. The film centers around the friendship of Harold and George and their connection through writing and creativity.
Once we have our movie picked out it’s time for the snacks. I picked up Pop Secret 10 ct Movie Theatre Butter Popcorn and Lance Grilled Cheese Crackers. I knew these would be perfect for movie night, plus I grabbed a few candies to add to the popcorn of course too! I love the great butter taste of Pop Secret Popcorn, plus it’s a high-quality snack that is perfect for sharing. Lance Crackers are a great choice as well featuring their delicious flavor, plus they have real cheese and up to 5 grams of protein. Those crackers are a favorite for my daughter.
I picked up all the items we needed at Walmart, plus the Captain Underpants DVD is will be available in Walmart stores 9/12! Be sure to reserve your copy now by pre-ordering today! While supplies last.
Now, are you ready for a fun family movie night? What would you add to your snack bar?
