Del Monte and Diary of a Wimpy Kid in Theaters

Are you gearing up for the Back to School season right now?  Well, maybe you need to catch a break from all the hustle and bustle and take the kids to see the latest new release, Diary of a Wimpy Kid in theaters!  This month I have teamed up with Del Monte to help spread the word on the new release, plus even better they have a great contest going on their Facebook Page.  It includes winning a hand drawn sketch from author, Jeff Kinney, or even a year worth of Del Monte Fruit Cups!

I knew that I would be babysitting my nephews and then also have my son during the week so I headed to Walmart to pick up a few Del Monte fruit cups for them to snack on.  These are perfect to eat on the go, in lunches, or on the way to the movie to avoid buying all those movie theater snacks!

I don’t know about you, but in our family fruit cups are on my grocery list every week.  They are one of the easy snacks my son eats frequently!

To celebrate the release, plus my oldest nephew’s excitement we decided to draw our own pictures in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid style!  It was the perfect activity on a morning that I was babysitting!

While my oldest nephew was drawing, he explained to me how badly he wanted to see the movie as he loved the other one so much!  It sounds like that’s on his list to do this month with his mom and dad!

My son drew his picture at lightening speed so he could focus all his attention on the Del Monte Fruit Cups.  His favorite is mandarin orange, so I pick that one up frequently!

My nephews finished their pictures quickly.  I thought my oldest nephew’s picture was funny because suddenly they have 3 kids in the family when really they just have 2 boys!

This is their family, as you can see there are only 2 kids and his mom is not blue, but I guess his picture was pretty close!

My son decided that we were just one big circle of love I guess!

We currently have the latest family picture of 3 of us; however, I was actually pregnant in this picture I just didn’t know it yet!

I hung up their pictures on our art wall, then they finished up their Del Monte snacks and we were all geared up and ready to see the latest movie!
