This deep dish cookie takes your love of cookies to a whole new level! You’ve GOT to try it.
I will fully admit my weakness is cookies. That weakness has always been there. I try not to make them too often because I can literally consume the entire batch in minutes. How could one not do this though? Ooey-gooey chocolate goodness just staring you in the face!
It’s even worse when no one is home and I’m alone with the cookies, they start speaking to me, begging me to eat them.
It just got even worse when I made this deep dish cookie; this was basically like a pie of cookie deliciousness! A deep dish cookie is essentially one HUGE cookie made with the entire batch of batter. Then, you can bake it either in a cast iron skillet or a deep pie pan.
I opted for the pie pan in this case, primarily because I had planned on serving it out of this dish at a party and did not want to take my skillet with me.
What could be even better than this deep dish cookie? The best part is you can really mix this up to be your own. It could be made with chocolate chips, M&M’s, whichever candy or topping you want to add!
This dessert did not last long between me making it to our party; it was lucky it even made it that far. This is a fun recipe to make for parties or simply to surprise the kids after school before the homework marathon begins.
My family loves to serve it with a big glass of milk, even chocolate milk. We all know chocolate milk is better, right? I like to think so.
Now are you ready for a big slice of this deep dish cookie? Put your feet up, relax, and take a bite or two!

OMG! This looks delicious! It’s totally going on the menu next week when my stepson is with us. I’m thinking this with homemade vanilla ice cream and homemade chocolate sauce will be a total hit. Thank you 🙂
Yes with ice cream and sauce – yum!
I’m absolutely a chocolate chip cookie hound!! And the bigger the better – deep dish cookie? Count me in! I can see this smothered in some ice cream and maybe a little fudge drizzle (because you can never have too much chocolate!) Yummmm…
Yes that sounds perfect to me!

Oh wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cookie pie quite like this before. I really love that gooey chocolate center in between all that chocolate chip cookie deliciousness. It definitely won’t be too dry.

Cookie Cake?!?!? What could be better!! That looks so moist, chocolatey and delicious!
Oh my chocolatey goodness!
My family adores a good cookie, but I’ll admit we have the eternal debate of crunchy versus soft. I think this deep dish cookie would solve it for us and leave us all in a sugar overload.
That is miles away from a plain old cookie! It truly is a cookie pie! I would love to have a big, warm slice of that right now with a little milk. I am a sucker for a soft, gooey cookie and this might just be my heaven!

This may have replaced my all-time favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. My son loves cookie cakes and this looks very similar to what I make him. ONLY BETTER!
