I call this the cowboy burger because my husband is a wanna be cowboy, he dreams of owning a ranch someday and having lots of animals and land. If he does, I would imagine he would request one of these for lunch, because they are that good!
I made these burgers very simply. I used 1 lb of ground beef mixed with Lawhorn’s Seasoning. I used about 1/2 a Tbsp, then cook them on the grill. When they were about 1/2 way done cooking I put slices of Swiss cheese on them. I also toasted the hamburger buns on the grill as well. This amount of meat will make about 4 burgers.
While, these were cooking I poured olive oil in with mushrooms and sauteed them in a skillet. These were for my husband, as I am not a mushroom fan!
Now to build the burger, use a hamburger bun, patty with cheese, top that with sauteed mushroom, following that with French Fried Onions, then pour on the Homemade BBQ Sauce.
Mouthwatering.
Goodness.
