I was recently provided with a copy of the latest book by Kim Ima, The Treats Truck Baking Book. I was immediately drawn to this book, seriously who isn’t? There are cookies on the cover!
I opened it up and felt like I was in heaven with this book, it is so simple to read and understand the recipes. The recipes utilize common ingredients for baking that you would likely have on hand. There are also baking tips and tricks to educate those like me who are on this journey to learn all about cooking and baking.
The recipe I thought looked amazing is the Raspberry Rings, these include sugar cookies, meringue wash, and raspberry jam. Sounds heavenly to me.
It is also a small book, which I love particularly because it is not overwhelming. It keeps things very simple for us simple cooks like myself. To find out more on this book head over to The Treats Truck…or win one with the giveaway below.
