Have you ever had a sandwich that was so good you simply had to make it yourself at home on a regular basis? Well, that is exactly how I feel about club sandwiches. What can I say, I love meat and a variety of it just makes my sandwich even better!
This past week I headed out to Sam’s Club to look for Castle Wood Lunch Meat. I’ll admit I had not knowingly tried it yet at this point, but once I found all the varieties available plus the affordable price, I was shocked I waited so long! I was able to pick up a variety pack which included all the meats that I needed for this delicious sandwich!
Not only did they have several variety packs but also packs that included meat and cheese! The perfect combination for any sandwich. I also needed to pick up some bacon for my sandwich. I did mention I was going for a meaty sandwich, right?
I picked up this great value pack that included 3 types of meat. Then, I had to come home and build my sandwich. Another secret to a great sandwich in my opinion is the sauce! I wanted to include my favorite dill spread on the sandwich as opposed to a mayo or dressing. I like to make this spread and then keep it on hand for sandwich making throughout the week. It’s a simple combination of greek yogurt, sour cream, and lots of dill weed!
Then, it was time to build my sandwich. I included 4 different types of meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato along with my dill spread! I used Udi’s gluten free bread for my sandwich and then used regular bread for my husband. This is the perfect way to serve a meal gluten free or not!
