Make a sweet and delicous treat with these Classic Apple Nachos topped with chocolate and caramel sauce!
Do you want a snack in about 5 minutes? If so, these Apple Nachos are just for you!
Apple Nachos combine the sweet and crisp flavor and texture of apples with the sweet favorites that you would find topped over ice cream.
We’ve been making Apple Nachos for well over 10 years now and it’s the perfect treat when the kids get home from school or after work too!
Tips for Making Apple Nachos:
Any apples can be used for this snack, the first thing you will want to do is slice them into small wedges to create the nachos.
These can be arranged on a tray or plate, remember you will have several of them and they are great to serve for a crowd.
Once you have the apples arranged how you would like, it’s time to add on the toppings.
The toppings can really be any that you prefer. We like to start with the caramel and chocolate drizzle and build from there, using what we have on hand.
Toppings for Apple Nachos:
- Caramel Sauce
- Chocolate Sauce
- Mini Marshmallows
- Chocolate Chips
- Pecans
- Shaved Coconut
- Peanut Butter
- Sprinkles
- Granola
- …and More!
Once you have your toppings picked out, all you need to do is slice up the apples and then start coating them with your favorite toppings.
It’s best to start with the sauces such as chocolate and caramel, then add in the other ingredients like marshmallows and nuts.
Think of this as what you would serve on ice cream only instead of ice cream, the base is going to be some crispy, sweet apples.
If you want to go even further make this Cream Cheese Fruit Dip for dipping too.
Let’s enjoy this snack today!
