Cheddar Bay Biscuits are the perfect pairing with many meals, plus you can make them gluten-free too!
Gluten free cheddar bay biscuits might just make your whole day. Pick up some crab legs and have your own Red Lobster night at home!
Have you ever craved something so bad but knew you could not have it? That’s how I feel with Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Whether you buy these at a restaurant or make them at home, they are so good; you just have to have one!
Before I realized that I needed to eat gluten free, I always made these for my family. They were a favorite paired with a delicious potato soup, but then as the gluten intolerance got worse, I stopped making them because I wanted them too much.
The great thing is, since learning how to cook gluten free, now I know that I can make them, and they taste pretty close to the real thing! Of course, the flour is a bit different texture, but if you can’t have the real thing, these are a good alternative.
I normally made these with a premade baking mix; however, now I make them with a homemade baking mix. A friend of mine shared her baking mix recipe with me many years ago, and now I use it with gluten free all-purpose flour instead. It works out perfectly for these biscuits.
The best part for me is that my kids love these too; the biscuits pair great with soups or grilled meats. We like to serve them alongside steak as well.
The garlic and butter drizzled over the top is really what knocks these biscuits out of the park. I love garlic; seriously I could use it on everything. Now, my husband may not agree with my breath after I eat foods with garlic, but it’s worth it.
Have you tried Homemade Gluten Free Cheddar Bay Biscuits before? If you have not had cheddar bay biscuits in a while, be sure to try these. They will be a nice alternative for you and help fulfill that craving too!
I use Better Batter for these.
