Let’s talk about snacking today, I’m a Mindless Muncher, what type are you?
I mentioned earlier in the week that a majority diet and exercise overhaul is going on in our home this year. It’s true! I’ve been watching every single thing that I eat lately and had an eye opening experience realizing how much snacking I do. I took this fun quiz, POPSUGAR Snack ID Quiz and guess what? It was spot on! I am a Mindless Muncher!
I eat snacks and don’t even realize that I’m actually eating it. I realized this just this past week as I was counting all my calories. It’s interesting how many times you suddenly realize that you go in the kitchen when you are counting your calories.
I keep walking to the fridge almost out of habit, then in the evenings I’ll watch TV or sit and browse on my phone and not even realize it while snacking. So, when I look at myself and see the weight I’ve gained and wonder if it’s all my cooking…it isn’t! It’s all the snacking, most of which is on foods I didn’t make either!
So, I’m cutting WAY back on my snacking but I’m also planning to try Meta Appetite Control too. I’ll be adding that into my diet as well and I’ll share about my success as well with my readers, but I’m hoping to use it in smoothies to drink before or after a good workout. I’m actually looking forward to this because I haven’t made smoothies in a while either. I’m planning to freeze the ingredients for prep to use throughout the week and then I’ll stir in Meta Appetite Control right before drinking in order to make it easy to consume quickly. Do you drink a smoothie in the morning? I’d love to hear some of your favorite ingredients to put in the smoothies.
Now, I’m hoping that between counting my calories, a new workout routine, and adding Meta Appetite Control that I can really get back into that target weight and healthy range that I need to be in. It’s about time I get myself back in shape and really start ‘living’ again!
