Do you feel drained during the summer? Not only am I going nonstop during the summer months with activities, but I am also trying to beat the Oklahoma heat! We have actually had a relatively mild summer so far; however, I know the 100*+ weather is right upon us.
For my family, I try to beat the heat by making smoothies then keeping them on hand in the freezer to quickly defrost one and drink it on the way out the door.
I was happy to find out that Silk has introduced a new line of products, Silk Almondmilk with Protein + Fiber. What does this mean?
A huge boost of nutrients in a tasty, refreshing smoothie! Did I mention it’s so simple and can be done with just a few of your favorite fruits?
The best part? Silk also has a coupon out for you to use to try out the product too.
After I made a few smoothies, my son was anxiously awaiting his. He is a smoothie lover, which is wonderful for me because he is such a picky eater. He will typically drink a smoothie though so I can boost it with nutrients that he may not get otherwise.
Then, my daughter is a toddler and smoothies are great for her busy little self. She is just starting to enjoy the taste of them and is just as anxious as my son to try them.
Now as the summer heats up, I feel like I can keep my family healthy with these Banana Orange Almond Milk Smoothies. I simply add a little bit of orange and banana with the Silk Almondmilk and in less than a minute…it’s smoothie time!
Are you ready for a sip?
