Do you feel that? It’s Christmas knocking on your door, it’s almost here! I know, you don’t want to think about that but it is. Now is a great time to be thinking of good gift ideas like these adorable Pie in a Jar with a cute little printable.
Now, although this would be great for Christmas, what about now? I think it’s pretty clear to all of us that throughout life it has it’s ups and downs. We have had our fair share lately in our own lives, but I know that’s likely how just about all of us feel. I always find that in those times it’s unexpected treats like this that can totally change the outlook on your day. It’s that easy, really.
These little pies are so easy to make with Marie Callender’s® Dessert Pies and Reddi-Wip®! The means even those that do not have time to bake pies from scratch can easily make these with just a few steps.
First of course, you want to head to Walmart and pick up your ingredients including the fruit pie of your choice from Marie Callender’s. I went with the apple pie because that just speaks comfort to me.
Once you get home with that delicious pie, simply bake it as instructed on the package but avoid adding the topping to it. Once it is fully baked and cooled, I simply used pint sized mason jars and scooped the pie into the jars. This is the best part because you do not have to keep the pie intact, simply scoop it in like a crumble pie. I was able to fill up 3 mason jars with 1 pie. Then, I topped each one with the brown sugar topping that is included in the package.
At that point, I popped them back in the oven for another 10 minutes to get nice and brown.
Simple, right?
Now that your pies are made, you can print out this adorable printable to pair with the pies and then pass them out to friends and family. Then, as they eat they can read over the recipe and share pie with another friend because it’s all about doing life together. I don’t know about you but doing life together and pie just really do go together. Still with me?
When we were ready to serve ours, we topped them with Reddi-Wip and ate up!
Are you ready to serve up this delicious treat? Be sure to print off your FREE printable, I have provided them in 2 different sizes; however, when you download and print them you can size them down or up if needed.
