Happy Memorial Day! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend, I’m dropping in to share a quick and easy recipe with you, but if you need Memorial Day recipe ideas, head here.
Do you need an easy dinner night? This recipe is just for you! There are days, weeks sometimes, where it is everything in me not to go get take out because I just do not have time to get dinner on the table. I had one of those days this past week, so I opted to make a spin on Grilled Chicken Fajitas and create Fajita Chicken Tacos. What makes these fabulous? They are customizable to the individual taste of each family member.
This recipe gets even better because, Tyson is offering up FREE Blended Movie Tickets with the purchase of 2 Grilled & Ready Products. I have to admit I was overly excited about this because my husband and I absolutely love Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore movies, so as soon as we saw the previews for this movie we were planning our date night. Not only that but we also happen to eat Grilled & Ready chicken often, so when I saw that little coupon on the package of chicken…well, let’s just say I was one happy lady in the grocery store!
Now, if you do not see the coupon on the package, do not worry, you can find all the details on earning your movie tickets here. Be sure to shop Walmart for this special and purchase two Grilled & Ready products.
Since I had to purchase two Grilled & Ready products, I decided to go with our classic Grilled & Ready chicken and then also the Fajita Chicken Grilled & Ready. I had a Fajita Chicken Taco night in mind to celebrate our Blended movie night.
When we do taco nights, I like to put all the toppings out to create a taco bar so that everyone can pick and choose what they want. Of course, both of my kids prefer the taco shell and for my son that’s all he wants. My daughter will eat anything in sight! My husband likes his tacos loaded with toppings, and I prefer a few toppings with veggies on the side.
The summer months are actually my favorite time for taco nights because I can get so many fresh veggies from our garden to make scrumptious tacos. Oh and of course homemade salsa is like the icing on the taco cake.
The Grilled Fajita Chicken gives these tacos a burst of flavor without even using taco seasoning. The great thing about this dinner night is that these can be prepared in just under 10 minutes. It’s a simple dinner night without having to go out for take out!
Ready to eat? How about a date night? I say make these tacos then head out to see Blended with your honey.

These looks so yummy!!! We do the same thing in our house on taco night! We all like different toppings, and it makes it fun to create our own tacos! I’m going to have to try them with the Grilled & Ready chicken! #client
