Do you take steps to live a more ‘green’ lifestyle in your household? I’ll admit we are a bit behind on this, I honestly think the area I live in is behind in general on this, but maybe I’m wrong. Over the past few years though, we have tried to make subtle changes to live a more ‘green’ lifestyle.
I tend to get overwhelmed when we start changing everything, so I like to stick to a few simple things to go green on and gradually start changing over products we use and different habits we have. I want being ‘green’ though to be our normal at some point, where we do not even think about it, it would just come natural.
One way recently that we went green was trying out the new Energizer Double AA EcoAdvanced Batteries. So many things in our home take batteries, and these batteries actually use recycled batteries and materials. The best part is they are actually the longest longest lasting alkaline ever from Energizer’s products. That says a lot, I mean that alone makes me want to buy it. This product is brand new and it will help my family go green even more in our home.
Now, I thought I would share a few tips too particularly in the kitchen of how you can go green with just minor changes!
5 Tips to a “Greener” Kitchen
- Switch over to cloth napkins and paper towels.
- Use Energy Star Appliances to cut down on those energy cost.
- Use homemade cleaners for your kitchen, plus these are also typically going to be safer for your family too.
- Switch to a pitcher of chilled water and a reusable water bottle instead of water bottles.
- Use the new Energizer EcoAdvanced Batteries in all of your kitchen gadgets that take batteries.
I spotted this coupon inside the package too!
