We typically take a day or two before Christmas to just make ALL the cookies and treats. These are some of our favorite cookie recipes.
Once we make them, we package them up and then deliver them to friends and family, which is a great way to spread some Christmas cheer this year.
How do you make gluten-free cookies?
Gluten-Free Cookies can be made with just about any traditional recipe by simply swapping the flour that you use. It’s best to use gluten-free all-purpose flour.
I use Better Batter; however, you can use any 1:1 gluten-free flour that you prefer.
If you use any traditional recipe, this simple swap will almost always work.
I’ve always made gluten-free cookies this way because I like simple and do not like using several different types of flour.
In saying that, some of these recipes do include multiple flours as well. This list features a wide variety.
As always check all ingredients first to be sure you are using all gluten-free ingredients.

Hi Kristy, Just wanted to say thanks so much for your blog and for focusing on Gluten Free cooking. I finally realized Gluten was literally killing me at the age of 65. I’d been sick at some degree for most of my life, but never diagnosed with Gluten Intolerance or Autoimmune Disease because I don’t produce antibodies. Being off Gluten has taken down the inflammation in my entire body. (Finally diagnosed with RA and Sjogren’s Syndrome and now on immunosuppressant meds, but gluten has been my inflammatory trigger) I lost 35 pounds that I never could get off. So just wanting to let you know I appreciate being able to come here and get ideas and inspiration for cooking. Thanks for coming by and linking up at All About Home. I’m featuring your GF cookie recipes for Christmas this evening. Have a great New Year’s Week!
Yay!! That makes me happy to hear if you ever have questions let me know. I’ve been gluten-free for a very long time now. 🙂
