It’s time to fully embrace fall with these 15 Easy Maple Recipes, each utilizing Maple Syrup!
Fall is finally here, my favorite time of year. Thankfully, the weather has started to get the memo here in Oklahoma and fall is in the air, just in time for the state fair too.
That means that suddenly, my mind starts to wander and day dream when I see all those leaves changing colors. I don’t know why but fall always seems to take me back to childhood and watching movies.
Those movies like, “You’ve Got Mail” and “Stepmom” that are filmed in the New England states in the fall, it just takes me back to watching those with my mom for some reason.
The fall also means my favorite colors like brown and green start to emerge in my wardrobe and layers, lots and lots of layers. I also love to linger in boots by the fire, it’s just so perfect and dreamy.
Another thing that happens in the fall?
Fall Food!
Everything in our home turns to pumpkin and maple, good thing my family loves these flavors. I have to say adding some maple just brings some new flavor to just about anything.
I thought today as we welcome fall, I’ll share with you 15 Easy Maple Recipes. Each of these has a hint of maple, which truly it will not only taste amazing but it will make your house smell amazing too!
Is Maple Syrup different than Pancake Syrup?
YES! YES! YES!
Did you get the answer to this one yet? YES!
What is Maple Syrup?
Maple syrup is sap from a maple tree. Once the sap is boiled down the sugars caramelize which gives it the flavor and color.
The alternative is pancake syrup. I won’t knock pancake syrup, we keep it around here too sometimes but it’s also very much processed, and almost always has tons of ingredients and high-fructose corn syrup too.
So if you had to choose between the two…go for the 100% Maple Syrup! It’s worth the money.
I have even found some real maple syrup at Marshall’s with some pumpkin flavor added to it too, how tasty does that sound? Well, that is if you like pumpkin of course!
What flavor can you expect in recipes with Maple Syrup?
Maple has all those delicious flavors of fall in the syrup, it has a caramel and vanilla flavor profile, plus it’s smooth.
I like to pair it with cinnamon in most of these meals to give it just the right flavors.
