It’s almost time to plan out the perfect Irish inspired meal for St. Patrick’s Day, be sure to check out these 10 St. Patrick’s Day Recipes for your day!
Do you have a little luck of the Irish? St. Patrick’s Day seems to get overlooked a bit in our home! Each year, I try to make it a fun holiday for the kids but I always seem to run out of time. This year, I’m getting a head start.
I’m teaming up with a few amazing bloggers to share 10 St. Patrick’s Day Recipes! These recipes are sure to be hitting our table this year. I can’t wait to share a few with my family and the kids. My son is finally really starting to understand holidays now and he absolutely LOVES celebrating each and every one.
I know I’ll be picking out a green shirt for him that day. My daughter’s outfit I’m already thinking about too, green baby legs? I sure think so! When she was a baby, I had the cutest little St. Patrick’s Day outfit, I still have pictures of that one, it was just SO cute! My son had a matching green shirt too. He was about 3 1/2 and she was a newborn, they were so much easier to dress then.
My daughter has just recently taken a very STRONG interest in picking out her own clothes. I lay her clothes out the night before and by morning she’s completely changed the outfit. I’m just embracing it, even if it doesn’t always match. Some battles are not worth it and this would be one of them…
Hopefully though she goes with me on the green for St. Patrick’s Day!
Now, after the outfits come the food! I think I may make them St. Patrick’s Day Donuts this year, then surprise them with a little fun for dinner too.
