Peaches are in season and that means I’m using them regularly in desserts and meals. I thought I’d share with you today 10 Ways to Use Peaches.
A little odd trait about me is that I have an allergy to almost ALL fruit and veggies, yep all of it! You will never see me eating fruit or veggies raw because almost immediately my mouth breaks out. The crazy part about this allergy? If the fruit or veggie is cooked then I’m totally fine and can eat it. Most of my life I’ve had this or at least as long as I can remember but it wasn’t until recently that I was told it actually has a name. It’s called an Oral Food Allergy. How fun, right?
Luckily, I’ve found many ways to bake or cook fruits and veggies because I LOVE them all too but it is a pain that I can’t just reach for a handful of fruit for a healthy snack because I’m allergic to it.
One fruit I’ve found to be so easy to bake or cook with is peaches. I absolutely love peach flavor but it has to be prepared the right way so that I can eat it. I have a plethora of recipes to share with you using it, one of my favorites is Peach Jam but I have yet to make that on my own. Thankfully, I’ve been able to get it at a local orchard in town.
