It’s always the same thing, each January everyone fills the gyms, right? Then, a few months later it’s empty again. It’s like we have to make ourselves feel better for all that gluttony over the holidays but then we get over it and back on with life, right? It’s true!
I started fitness classes a few months back and am finally getting very consistent with it and the next step for me is getting my diet in check. Now, I typically eat relatively good, I cook most of our meals but I am a sucker for burgers and fries. I swear fries speak to me in my sleep! I just love those darn things. They don’t love me though, so I’m going to have to part ways or at least just eat them once a month…maybe. My other love is iced coffee. I love iced coffee.
Now, I always get my iced coffee as low calorie as possible but it’s still close to 200 calories once the milk is added in and that’s a big chunk of my calories. So, I’m going to have to have them in moderation, another hard thing to swallow.
In saying this, today I thought I’d share a few meals that I’ve made that are better for you. I realize they may not be as healthy as you would want, so obviously you would want to adapt them to your healthy needs, but I love these and they are great for the diet that I’m on.
