It’s almost time for Valentine’s Day! I thought I’d share with you a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day ideas. I have always been the type of person who wants to stay home for Valentine’s Day and have a nice dinner and date without fighting the crowds. Knowing this, I’m always on the look out for good ideas to hint to my husband about! I know he loves that. (Insert sarcastic look here!)
If you are in need of a good breakfast to start your day try Heart Shaped Eggs in a Nest. We made these a few weeks ago, and they were a huge hit for both my toddler and my husband, plus they are just adorable! For those of you like me, who are not fans of plain eggs for breakfast snuggle up with a plate of Banana Blueberry Pancakes, or enjoy a warm Vanilla Latte!
If you are in the mood for an Italian dish try the Garlic Chicken Lasagna. For those of us who lean to our crock pots how about Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup, sure to warm you up on a cold, winter day.
Finish the evening off with a few desserts Valentine’s Cupcakes, Red Velvet Sandwiches, Pop Stars, or Whoopie Pies.
If you need a few date ideas or you like to do theme dates check out Love Actually. She has hundreds of date ideas perfect for those who want to stay at home or go out on the town! One of my favorites is her Stud Muffin idea. I think this is a great treat to do regularly and will probably make your sweetheart delighted!
I hope these ideas help you and your sweetheart! Enjoy your Valentine’s Day!
