Tuna Salad Wrap is a go-to for lunch.
Keeping right along with the New Year, I am working hard to stay on track health wise, particularly with the way I eat. One thing that I really love is tuna especially tuna salad!
I know tuna can be a love it or hate it item, my husband is not such a fan but I absolutely LOVE it! I usually make some each week and keep it on hand for quick sandwiches or salads throughout the week. I also love it on wraps when I can find a good gluten free tortilla or putting it on corn tortillas.
This past week though I noticed there were new Sun Dried Tomato tortillas and thought I would make a few for my family because they were planning to come over. I knew it would be a light, healthier alternative to ordering in pizza or a ‘junk’ food. My go-to tuna salad recipe includes relish and dill because those are just necessary in tuna salad! Don’t you think?
I also opted to use Bumble Bee® Seafoods chunk light tuna because there are so many great health benefits to it. It adds an easy and delicious amount of nutrients to your diet including lean proteins, healthy fats, and important vitamins and minerals. Plus…it’s DELICIOUS!
I absolutely love that I can buy it in individual pouches or in cans. The pouches work great for me since I’m the one that primarily eats it in our home, then when I know I’ll need some lunches throughout the week I pick up the cans to make a larger batch of it. I like dipping crackers into it too; it makes for a great snack to pick me up throughout the day.
