Sit back and let your toddlers enjoy time together and host a Toddler Playdate with Gerber Lil’ Beanies. This is a sponsored post written on behalf of The Women Bloggers in association with @KendalKingGroup and #SoapboxInfluence; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
This past week we had a little test over spring break. I say ‘we’ really it was a test for mommy. This upcoming summer, I opted to keep my kids out of their normal Mother’s Day Out program and keep them home with me. Now normally this would be fine and dandy but I work from home. So, when they went to their MDO, I was at home working. This week though we passed the test. We had a fun Toddler Playdate with Gerber Lil’ Beanies.
I successfully balanced kid time with work time. Now, I know that probably won’t happen every day all summer long but it actually was much more seamless than I had expected. I am sure that is in large part because they are a bit older now and my daughter is getting more into preschool age, she’s so close!
Since I knew we needed some fun time over spring break, we had a little toddler playdate. The great thing is that all my friends with toddlers have kids my son’s age too, so it’s a win-win! Pleasing toddlers and kids in general is really not that hard, we did a few coloring sheets along with snacks and they were so happy.
I decided to let them try the new Gerber Lil’ Beanies from Nestle. These snacks are not just a filler they have nutritional value and are non GMO too! They are made with navy beans and rice flour and have no artificial colors or flavors. I could barely get the container open and my daughter was immediately munching. Our toddler friends felt the same way too, one bite wasn’t enough!
Each serving boast 2g of protein and 1g of fiber, that’s awesome of snack foods!
The Lil’ Beanies will start hitting shelves soon at Walmart most likely around March 12th. They come in two flavors and are under $2 a can! They are perfect for toddlers who can self feed up to 48 months. I will say though my 6 year old loved them too and so did this 32 year old! HA!
As a mom one thing we do not leave the house without is snacks! As soon as we get in the car it’s immediately, “I want a snack.” I love that these are very little mess and I can just keep them in the car with us.
It keeps my daughter occupied especially when my son has activities.
We ended up sharing them with friends and enjoying our spring break time together. Once they were fueled they all headed outside to play! We’ve been spoiled here in Oklahoma with amazing spring weather a little bit early. It makes the days so nice when you can get some fresh air.
Are you ready to have a break from sticky snack fingers? Then, these are a must try!
What types of snacks are your go-to for your toddlers? I’d love to hear them!
Happy Snacking!
