Experience Summer Fun with Lil’ Fishys and create an engaging experience for your kids. This post is written in partnership with The Women Bloggers & Soapbox Influence, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Can I just let you all know now that I’m pretty sure my kids may turn into fish with the amount of time we’ve spent in the water this summer? It’s true! We practically live at the lake during the summer, but this year we’ve spent just as much time at the pool too. My husband made a comment just today about how tan I was this summer, well that’s because I’ve spent almost all day at the pool. I won’t complain about that either, I love it. We are finally at that point that my kids can entertain themselves there, assuming they have friends to hang out with. If there friends aren’t there, then suddenly I become their first pick to play with again, or maybe that’s the last pick? This past week though, we tried out our new toys at the pool, Lil’ Fishys.
These toys are actually marketed for 3-5 year olds, but I have to say that the older kids and adults loved them just as much if not more than the little kids. These are battery operated, motorized fish that can swim and dive in the water. The kids LOVED chasing them around the pool. The whale even blew water out the back like a real whale would. Then, the octopus changed colors while they floated around the pool too. Our kids spent more than two hours being fully entertained with these fun Lil’ Fishys. My kids have already ask if we can take them back to the pool again this week. I also love that they even have a plastic fish tank, so we can easily store them in the tank too.
Of course, I think my daughter and her best friend decided the fish tank was fun to fill up with water and dump it out too, but the fish were in there as well. The Lil’ Fishys come in a variety of options too, I know we’ll be adding some sharks to our collection soon. I love that the kids can play for hours with these as well at the pool giving this mom even more time to just relax for a bit while the kids play, or is that even possible? I’m not sure, but I can tell you that they will definitely enjoy these Lil’ Fishys.
Have you tried Lil’ Fishys yet? This was the first time we’ve tried some of our own and I was so happy to see the kids so amused and excited to play with them.
Now, we are back to a week of swimming planned again, I’m already about to pack up our Lil’ Fishys to take with us.
Happy Summer Swimming!
