One of the things I love about my Chicken Tostadas and all tostada recipes in general is the variety that you can add to them.
This last time I made tostadas I decided to use steak instead. I used a very thin sirloin steak; however, you can also use flank steak. I cooked it, then added in taco seasoning as instructed on the package. Now, let’s talk about a lovely zesty flavor to a steak! This had it.
I topped the steak over warmed up tortilla’s, then I added rice and corn. I used a chunky salsa to drizzle over the top with a little cheese, and I had a steak tostada. This would also be great with the traditional toppings such as lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and beans; however, I thought I would mix it up a bit.
I really enjoyed this dish and it is one the whole family will love!
