Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

After making my Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken, I knew I was on to something with how easy this was to fix.  I did so much work.  Plugging in a slow cooker is really tough, sure?!  I immediately started to think of the other meats I could try using this and finally brought myself to purchase Pork Butt Roast.  Yes, I avoided it because something about the name Pork Butt Roast then thinking of the animal it came from.  Well, you see where I am going with this…

I purchased a 3 lb Pork Butt Roast, then poured in about 1 cup of my Homemade BBQ Sauce.  This cooked on low for 5-6 hours then I pulled it apart and let is cooked for another 2 hours to soak up the rest of the BBQ Sauce.  Depending on the size of the roast you may need to use more or less sauce.

I poured a generous helping of the pulled pork on top of a bun then added fresh dill from my herb garden.

Did I also mention that when I take pictures, I work around obstacles?  Sometimes, nearly loosing my subject AKA the food right before my eyes?  That would be my dog May, I had to put the camera down before I lost my lunch!
