It’s time for back to school and for us that means packing lunches. I’m using these CLIF Kid® products to help my kids go back to school with a boost of nutritious value too!

Last year, my son kept coming home from school begging for ‘Z Bar’.  Of course, I wasn’t too sure what he was talking about but he was pretty insistent that all his friends had Z Bars and he needed one too.  Then, when we were at the store, I realized that he was talking about the CLIF Kid Zbar®.  Once I had that down, I decided to do a little research of my own and realized that these bars were perfect for my son and had great nutritional value!

I quickly realized that CLIF Kid products are all made with organic ingredients, more specifically the CLIF Kid Zbar® has no high fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients.

I also love the way CLIF Kid stands behind promoting play for kids, did you know that when kids play more they are being more active too?  My kids both learned to ride their bikes this summer.  My son learned to ride without training wheels, while my daughter is learning to ride hers with training wheels after transitioning from a tricycle.

We’ve quickly become a family that rides bikes together, almost daily my son is begging to go out and ride his bike as a family.  It’s a great activity to do as a family, plus I get my exercise in too!  That’s a win for me. Did you know that most of us moms played outside, in fact 70% of us did as kids.  Are you ready for the statistics now?  31% of kids play regularly outside!  Is that not drastic?  I sure think so!  Of course, there are many factors that go into that, but it’s still important to get outside and let those kids play and be active.

Now, we always have a stash of CLIF Kid products on hand too because when you go out and play a lot, that means you likely are getting hungry too.  My kids both enjoy their products and it’s worked out perfectly to have as we do some schoolwork during the day and then transition to play in the afternoons.  CLIF Kid products feature the nutrients that my kids need but they have a great flavor that they crave.

That just means it’s much easier for me to get those nutrients in them because it’s not a fight, they gladly grab a CLIF Kid Zbar®.

I am so happy to see these CLIF Kid Zbar®. because the adult versions are so nutrient packed. We use these in our home all the time with active kids and being on the run we need good foods that are portable. That is what first attracted me to the CLIF Kid Zbar®. My boys play ice hockey and we are always on the road and between games and this is the perfect go to snack

I’ve never had the adult versions of these bars! These sound like they would be perfect for my older daughter, who doesn’t have a lot of time to eat before volleyball games. I would love her to have a more nutrient dense snack – will definitely check them out!

I love the “grown up” version of cliff bars, so I am sure that they’d be a bit with kids too! I’m going to have to mention these to my sister, I’m sure that my niece would love these too!

My kiddos LOVE the kids CLIF bars. I think there’s a Mint Chocolate one (pretty sure) and they would live on those things if I’d let them. That frosted cookie one looks pretty good to me though!

Your kids are so cute! I myself love Clif-type bars but I didn’t know they made them for kids. This just might become a grocery store splurge item once I find them in local supermarkets. Thanks for the heads up. P.S. Love your catchy blog name! Until I had three kids I couldn’t relate, but now I can 🙂

My kids love these bars…they are a staple in their lunch boxes. To be honest though, I prefer making my own. Even though these are ‘organic’ are healthier than others, it’s always best to make your own because you know exactly what is going in them!

That is awesome! I haven’t heard about these until recently and I know my son would love it. It is a great after school snack to have while he’ll be doing his homework. And I love that it’s organic.
