After a little bit of begging from my kids, both of them now have Amazon Fire Tablets.  These have actually saved us many times now just with keeping them occupied in general.  Any other parents realize just how much our kids have to keep them occupied these days?  I remember getting trouble as a kid constantly because I couldn’t sit still or was not ‘behaving’ while tagging along on the boring adult errands, nowadays, kids have constant entertainment.

Of course with that constant entertainment, brings even more responsibility on parents to ensure what it is they have access too.  I recently found out about Amazon Underground.  This is 3,000+ FREE apps and games that are perfect for kids and can help them learn as well.  There are 300+ education apps which happen to be great for my kids.  Right now, my son is using the flashcard machine.  That has definitely helped us because, I’ll be honest, I hate having flashcards around the house.  My daughter destroys them and we loose half of them.  I love that I have an electronic version now.

Not only do they have great apps for kids but also adults and college students too.

One thing that I love is that you never have to worry about them downloading apps and games that cost money because these are totally free and available on both Amazon Fire Tablet and Android Smartphones.

My son is always asking to play on his tablet, so I love that I can say ‘yes, you can play it as long as you are playing these games.’  He doesn’t realize that he’s actually learning because it’s fun for him, when in fact he’s studying math and reading too!  They even have ones that are grade specific.  I was so excited to see this.  My son needs some help with the English he’s learning in 2nd grade and they have an app just for that!  The same creator of that app has one that’s specific for preschool too, so both of my kids have age specific lessons.

Have you tried Amazon Underground?  What are you waiting for?  It’s FREE!
