Of course, one way that we can love on our fur babies is with all those cuddles and back rubs but another way is all about what we feed them, and the quality of the food. I’m sharing #Luvsome in my life as part of a Luvsome sponsored series for Socialstars™, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Did you spoil your fur baby over the holidays? I have to say every single time my husband went to the store throughout December he came back with something for our dog, May, and so did I! She got double spoiling, almost as much as the kids. May is just about 10 years old and we got her within about a year of getting married, she was our first baby and our first big responsibility. We brought her home at 9 weeks old and she was this cute little puppy, now she’s over 100lbs and HUGE. When she stands she’s as tall as I am and can quickly be mistaken for a bear. Maybe we should have named her ‘Bear’ instead of ‘May’? She’s a mix of a lab and another breed. We have yet to figure out what the other breed is but it had to be something large because she’s even bigger than a typical lab would be. Nevertheless, she’s still our little baby and she knows it.
I always find it interesting how much dogs seem to be connected with their owners and very intuitive. When we were pregnant with our son, I didn’t even know yet and was planning to take a pregnancy test, meanwhile May was going bananas the entire time just not like her at all. About an hour later, we found out we were pregnant, it’s almost as if she knew? Dogs sure can pick up on feelings quickly that’s for sure, even when we are sad too, she always seems to know that as well.
As owners, one of the most important things we can do is feed our dogs a high-quality dog food. I’ve found sometimes we need to switch dog foods over the years. There was a time when she had to eat a very specialized dog food because of a skin condition, that has since passed and we have a little bit more freedom, but we’ve recently started to feed her Luvsome. Luvsome can most commonly be found in your local Kroger store and it’s a high-quality, nutritious dog food. It’s filled with proteins and vitamins, plus it’s affordable. With Luvsome, you get the best quality and value for your fur baby plus your pocket book. Of course, the great thing is you can pick it up while you are shopping for your other groceries too, makes one-stop shopping a reality too.
May absolutely loves her Luvsome food and we love the value and quality of it too. We continue to play with her daily, but I think her favorite thing is just some good ole’ back rubs, she also is very fond of rolling around in the dirt on a regular basis. May is definitely a huge part of our family and being sure that she is taken care of and fed a nutritious dog food is a top priority.
Have you tried Luvsome? Did your fur baby enjoy it too?
