Make a great dinner tonight with these Grilled Brats with Veggies!
Are you making special plans to celebrate the dad in your life next weekend? I have a few ideas in my mind right now to celebrate the dads in my life, but first I thought I’d share this one with you!
We all know that moms love breakfast in bed, but what about dads?
How about…Bratfest in Bed! That’s right, let the aroma of grilled brats filter through the air. We decided to try this out a little early with my husband this week.
He has had a long week so, I thought we would do it after a nap during the day. I made these simply by grilling up the brats, then I made foil packs of onions and bell peppers mixed with olive oil and garlic salt to top the brats.
I even found buns specially made for brats at the store to use for these. They are a little bit bigger than the typical hot dog bun.
Once we had ours loaded, we added mustard and got the tray all ready for daddy. That meant for us, we added the remote of course, plus iced tea. My son was so excited to share this for daddy because he even joined in and helped.
The daddy in our life absolutely LOVED it and it made his day a little bit brighter!
Right now Johnsonville has a new app called, The Brat Signal, this great app alerts all your friends and family that a cookout is about to happen at your home!
This is perfect for us since we have cookouts regularly. It’s an easy way to gather up the family and enjoy time together.
Are you ready to share Bratfest in Bed? It’s time to whip up your dad’s favorite style of brats and surprise him too!
