I’m an iced coffee girl even when it’s below freezing, I still grab iced coffee. Why? I have no idea, maybe it’s because I’m a firm believer that hot coffee gives me hot flashes. Too young? Well, maybe since I’ve claimed that since I was in my teens, but it does!
Back in my earlier years right out of college I was a visual merchandiser for a larger retailer. I would get to the store bright and early to get started on changing up displays and I would walk around sipping on my morning coffee. The next thing I knew, I was running outside at 7am in below freezing temperatures because I felt like I was burning up. I hear the real ‘hot flashes’ are much worse. Let me just say, I’m not looking forward to it.
In the meantime, iced coffee to the rescue! I recently tried out the latest product from Green Mountain Coffee, their iced latte. I have to say it was very tasty! Their iced latte is very rich and creamy.
I also felt like it was a bit stronger than what I would typically drink. It had much more coffee taste than mocha taste. That’s a good thing although I tend to have 3/4 creamer and 1/4 coffee, don’t judge.
My husband also enjoyed a glass of the Green Mountain Coffee Iced Latte, he loves iced coffee possibly more than I do. He also really loves the convenience of having it ready to go in a container in the fridge in the mornings. He gets up way before normal people should be getting up for work and he needs lots of coffee. He can easily pour his coffee over ice and head out the door in a hurry.
