Chocolate Dipped Easter Pretzels are a fun choice for Easter with the kids!
As we get closer to Easter weekend these Chocolate Dipped Easter Pretzels would be the perfect treat to make with the kids. My son and I were on a Target trip when we spotted Easter sprinkles. I immediately thought he would enjoy making dipped pretzels and rolling them in the sprinkles, so in the cart they went. That $1 section gets me EVERY time.
As soon as we got home he was ready to try his hand at pretzel dipping. I used Baker’s Chocolate in both White Chocolate and Semi-Sweet Chocolate. All you need to do is heat it up per the instructions on the box, then simply roll the pretzel rods in the chocolate evenly coating one end.
Next, dip them in the sprinkles or sprinkle them with sprinkles and place them on a sheet of wax paper to harden up.
My son did the sprinkles while I rolled them in the chocolate. The entire time he was in charge of rolling them in sprinkles, he was eating handfuls of sprinkles too.
This is totally my kid.
I can’t deny him…I’m a sprinkle loving fool.
These pretzels are perfect for centerpieces for the Easter diner table or simply for a little treat for the kids for Easter. I think bagging these up in a few festive little bags and delivering to our family may be something we try this year too. My son loves to make treats for others, but this year we can’t take homemade treats to his school so we are missing that since last year we could.
Now, head into the kitchen this weekend and have some fun with your kids making these goodies!
Happy ‘Almost’ Easter!
