This week’s Friday Favorite is Maple Chicken and Rice Bake.  I thought this was a great twist to my chicken and rice.  This is also a very affordable meal!

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

I recently saw this recipe for Bread Machine Pizza Dough.  After I was given our bread machine, I knew I’d be giving this a try.  This dough made enough for 2 pizza’s and it was fabulous!  This is now my favorite way to make pizza dough and the best way that I have found.  I put all the ingredients in the bread machine, dough cycle and it’s done!

Since it made enough for 2 pizza crust, I split them and put one in a plastic bag in the freezer for later usage.

I made Chicken Alfredo Pizza, this is my first time trying this, and I was very pleased.

I also may use my White Sauce instead of the Alfredo sauce next time.

In conclusion, this turned out to be a success in our house, even my toddler loved it.

Baked Chicken Spaghetti

I have seen recipes for Chicken Spaghetti, but until now I had never tried it.  I have to say I was very impressed as it is both delicious and kid friendly plus can easily be a one dish meal!

I added peas in this dish to make this a one dish meal and give my family additional veggies, if you prefer not to a side salad would also compliment this dish well.

Enjoy and remember your coupons!

Friday Favorites

I decided to feature Pineapple Chicken and Rice Stir Fry as this week’s Friday Favorite.  This dish is one that I just recently made and am impressed with.  It is a nice, healthy twist to the typical stir fry!

Raspberry Chicken Salad

When I was pregnant with my son, I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes.  I was able to control it with my diet, but was very limited as to what I could eat.  One of the items I could eat and enjoyed was Camille’s Chicken Salad.  To save money, I quickly learned how to put this salad together at home.

I typically use the store bought pre-made chicken salad, but since I am cooking now Annie’s Turkey Salad is a good recipe to use for the Chicken Salad, simply substitute the turkey for chicken.

I would use leafy, green lettuce, and top with chicken salad.  Then, add in sunflower nuts, bacon bits, and any veggies you prefer on the salad.  Lastly, finish it off with dill weed, mozzarella cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette dressing.  The dill weed makes this salad for me, since I love dill!  It’s delicious and it got me through my pregnancy cravings when all I wanted was a cookie!
