Breakfast Toaster Sandwich
My husband loves those delicious toaster sandwiches from Sonic; however, I much rather him make them at home because they are just so simple! This past week we had breakfast for dinner night and decided on Breakfast Toaster Sandwiches. Essentially, you can use your favorite breakfast items like sausage, bacon, and eggs then load up your sandwich!
We also make ahead the eggs and bacon as well so he can quickly make one on his way out to work. This is a great make ahead breakfast aside from the toast which just takes a few seconds to fix.
- 8 Slices Texas Toast
- 6 Scrambled Eggs
- 12-16 Slices of Cooked Bacon
- 4 Slices of Cheese, Optional
- *The amounts will vary based on how many sandwiches you are making, adjust accordingly.
- Serves 4
Simply toast your bread in the toaster oven or in a toaster. Then, butter the bread on both sides and add the bacon and eggs.
Another way to make this is to use a griddle on medium heat, butter the toast and place on the griddle let the bread cook until almost toasted then add the cheese and let it melt. Keep an eye on the bread and adjust heat if needed to avoid it burning. Then add the bacon and eggs and you have a delicious sandwich!
Enjoy your breakfast!
