BBQ Meatball Sliders are the perfect party food or quick meal.

It’s almost time, Christmas is just a few days away. I am getting anxious for the big day. It’s my absolute favorite holiday. I already have it all played out in my head; although, I know it usually does not go as planned. I am just ready for a day to rest with my family and enjoy time together.
I thought today before the holiday I would share this simple appetizer that can be served at your holiday parties. These may be a little messy because of that BBQ Sauce but they are absolutely worth it! The best part though is that they only take under 5-10 minutes to prepare!
My husband loves little sliders that are simple to eat while mingling with friends and family, so I made these with him in mind. I used Johnsonville Meatballs to top on an onion dinner roll. I also added a few pickles, onions, and then topped it with BBQ sauce and shredded cheese.
It was a melt in your mouth, wonderful party food! Of course, you won’t be able to eat just one, you’ll probably be snacking on them all night, right? I would be!
The meatballs are easy to heat up in the microwave because they are already fully cooked, they can be heated up in just about 4-5 minutes. Then, you simply build the sandwiches and plate them. This took about 10 minutes total from start to finish which was perfect because then I could finish up baking too.
I always like to have a few go-to recipes for the holidays that take minimal time to put together that helps me balance my time in the kitchen a bit more.
What are some of your favorite holiday snacks and appetizers?
Now, I’m off to spend time with my family. I’ll be away for the next few days so this is the last recipe that you’ll be seeing here until after Christmas. I’ll be back Friday with a new recipe!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
