Make a tasty dinner tonight with BBQ Beef Hot Dogs!
As summer starts heating up, that means we begin to have cookouts fairly regularly and of course hot dogs are always on the menu! I always like to mix up our hot dogs and serve them differently, a little outside of the basic plain hot dog in the bun.
How do you make BBQ Beef Hot Dogs?
This past week, we tried out the Original Bar-S Franks, which happen to be the #1 seller of franks in the country! They are also made right here in Oklahoma.
I always love supporting Made in Oklahoma companies, especially when they are tasty food companies too. Not only does Bar-S carry their regular franks, they also have a line of Premium Beef Franks.
These happen to be our family favorite although we use just about all of them.
The great thing about Bar-S is they are a wonderful value, that makes them perfect for us when feeding several family members and friends.
We use them throughout the entire year, grilling indoors when needed, but we move outdoors as the spring and summer draw near.
Here in Oklahoma we always love a good barbecue sauce, plus BEEF!
So, I decided to mix my two favorite things to top these franks with. I decided to use ground beef that had be browned, mix in a little bit of sauce plus onions and relish.
Then, we topped the beef mixture over the grilled franks and topped them with additional mustard. They were DELICIOUS!
We literally went through them in minutes, they were definitely a hit with my family. We’ll be enjoying these hot dogs all summer long along with a few other variations too.
