Country Style Sloppy Joes with Kraft Fresh Take
I am so excited to share with you a new product that I’ll be using and creating recipes for over the next few weeks, Kraft Fresh Take. This product basically gives you what you need to build a delicious dinner in mere minutes using a meat of your choice! I decided to get a little creative and come up with a Country Style Sloppy Joe!
Kraft Fresh Take has a variety of flavors including Italian Parmesan and Cheddar Jack & Bacon; however, my flavor that I’ll be sharing with you is Smokey Mesquite BBQ. I have to say this is perfect for my BBQ loving family!
For this recipe I used a variety of ingredients, most of which you will have on hand in your fridge and pantry! I used the beans as a side item but you can do whatever you have on hand. Also using Kraft BBQ Sauce is a nice touch but I do love my homemade BBQ sauce on these as well.
As I mentioned earlier, I focused on the Smokey Mesquite BBQ flavor for this recipe. This is what I like to call a country man’s sloppy joe. It’s busting with BBQ flavor along with juicy meat and cheese mixed in!
This recipe is simple as I just combined the ingredients then simmered it in the skillet for about 15-20 minutes enough to brown the meat.
Next it’s all about preparing the sloppy joe! This is where your family can join in and help load up their hoagie roll with that delicious meat mixture and top with loads of BBQ sauce.
Of course for my husband he wanted to contribute by being the taste tester! He loved these and thought they were great for dinner time, outdoor events, and will likely be hitting our menu for our bbqs during the summer!
