Apple Cinnamon Pancakes with Caramel Sauce

In light of it being the beginning of fall, I knew I had to make some Apple Pancakes!  Not only did I want apple pancakes, but I wanted them coated with Caramel Sauce!  If you are like me and needs these gluten free simply use a gluten free self rising flour and you will come out with the same great result.

I decided to use the pancake recipe my friend gave me a while back then just add a little applesauce and cinnamon to it.  The result?  A delicious fall treat!

My husband and I both agreed these are on the regular breakfast plan plus the breakfast for dinner nights for us this fall right along with Pumpkin Waffles!

    This sounds wonderful for my daycare kids to try out tomorrow. I did have a couple of questions..Do you need to use Self-Rising Flour or will regular work? Also is there a way to cut down the sugar…we are trying to get healthier and didn’t know if it was possible to cut that back by atleast half that amount. Thanks for your help and love your website.

      I haven’t tried it with the sugar cut down but I have used Spenda instead of real sugar. I would try that but also you can put it into and see what amount of sugar you are getting once you divide it between the amount of servings. As far as flour goes, I would use the self rising otherwise it will change the recipe since the flour will need baking powder added to it.
