Turkey Sausage Fettuccine Alfredo

turkey sausage alfredo

This dish is a pantry meal find at it’s finest!  When I am planning out my menu, I like to do a few things.  First, I take inventory of what I have in my pantry, next I take inventory of what I have in my freezer.  I try to build meals only using the meat I have on hand and the bulk of what I have in my pantry.  This avoids food piling up that never gets used as well as saves me money because I am not buying tons of ingredients for each dish.

This past week I noticed that I have a lot of different sausage from Johnsonville in my freezer which included fully cooked Turkey Sausage.  I started to rack my brain to come up with ways to use the sausage with what I had on hand which was fettuccine noodles, so instead of adding the traditional chicken to the Fettuccine Alfredo, I mixed it up with Turkey Sausage!

It came out tasting delicious and was a nice change to our usual chicken!
